Switzerland - Thun - Interlaken / Augstmatthorn - Lungern
Our favourite place to date. If you are planning a trip to Switzerland, do not miss this route. Whether you are travelling by train or car, this stop is super easy to get to! Interlaken itself has lots to see/ do - from taking a funicular up to the mountains, paragliding or even just spending time at the lake via cruise.
Thun
We used this as our starting point and stayed in a camp spot located next to StrandbadThun - costing 5 GBP for 24 hours

Interlaken
Just a 30 minute drive from Thun and also only 30 minutes on the train to Interlaken Ost. Or take the Lake Cruise to Interlaken West (around 20min walk to Interlaken Ost)

A more pricey camping spot but 100% worth it. The views are unbelievable - make sure you get a spot by the water!
Lungern
Just another 30 minute drive from Interlakern or 1 Hour Train from Interlaken Ost - a quiet town with the best views.

This area was a little more stricter when it comes to wild camping so we booked into Parkplatz camping - right on the lake with all facilities and a restaurant.
